Dear experts,
I just enabled the MDG data model 0G in order to use the out of the box solution for Cost Center.
In my Single processing request for Cost Center I don't see some of the essential fields that we maintain for this entity.
Please advise on the approach I should take in order to have those fields also available.
Here is my ECC cost center create screen that has the fields like Valid From and To dates, Hierarchy area, Costing sheet, etc.
The MDG Create request looks a bit different and is missing these fields.
As you can see, those fields are not in the model.
What I can do is enhance the 0G data model and add those fields to it, but I read somewhere that they exist in the model, they are just maintained differently.
Please let me know if you know how to approach the issue.

Please tell what is the difference between SAP_MDG_MENU_03 and SAP_MDGS.
I am using MDG 7.0
When I create a Request for "Create ERP Customer",
I then enter data including the sales Area Data and Company Code data
Then Submit
at the following approval step , Sales Area data and CC data is missing.
I get ERROR message "Enter a value for Field BP_GUID"
Please advise what Table or T-code am I missing values for .

Anyone already had the requirement in order to use the field Hours to Completion (EXP_COMPLETE_HOURS) in BRFplus table of workflow WS60800086?
Can any expert explain me how to setup in order to send e-mail notifications based on this field? For example, in case of a change request that exceeds the total hours contained in this field an e-mail should be sent to the processor in order to alert to process it.
I already read some documents about extended notifications and sub-workflows to send e-mails, but my requirement is to use this field to send a notification for the processor.
Any help will be very appreciated.

Hi Experts,
I have implemented rule based workflow with multiple conditions and with dynamic agent but I am getting error at agent determination - find_path_processor(method).
Tech analysis:
In my analysis I came to know that values are not getting from the BRF+ decision table(single value table), due to that workflow get into error status(this service name, next step & status values has to come from brf+ -> dynamic agent concept used).
Class name : cl_usmd_wf_ssw_rule_service -> process_dt_for_cr_type.
Could any one please suggest or any directions so I can come out from this...

Dear MDM experts,
Good afternoon.
We have a requirement of creating a new MDM repository for our MDM host. version SAP MDM 7.1 sp08 console.
I am from SAP Basis side, We just received name of new MDM repository to create.
Since this is a first time ever for me to create any repository, I have little doubts about creating the repositories. Expecting little help to clear doubts.
1) we have 3 system landscape MDM Dev/Qas/Prd , now SRM user requested to create a MDM repository directly on PRD system. Is this ok or it should be created on DEV -> QA -> PRD in this sequence ?
2) We only received name of repository to create and do not receive any details about inside fields. I have try to create a test repository and found that inside content is different than the one which is currently present in system. Who will provide these details ?
3) Can I just use option "Duplicate Repository" to create a new repository with different name which is send my SRM consultant ? what is the impact of this option, can this be use to to suffice requirement of creation of new repository.
4) What is standard way for performing such tasks?

Hi Experts,
We don't have PI in our landscape that's why I enhanced the web service 'BusinessPartnerSUITEBulkReplicateRequest_In' with some 'Z' fields directly in MDG box and also created binding in 'SOAMANAGER' for above service and it is showing as active.
Now, when I am going to these service via 'SPROXY' and trying to save I am getting error 'Proxy Generation: Error Occured', please find attached screensot.
And when I am trying to activate, its not activating and giving error 'Service Provide INTFII_MDG_BP_RPLCTRQ', please find attached screenshot.

2) what is qualifying, Leading and referencing relationship.
3) what is the role of business objects in MDG.
4) How do i get what is the purpose of paramters like process, CREQUEST ect . Where can i get more detail for this.

I create the rule set and tested in simulation and it works, but with I try in Change Request default values not showing in Change Request.

We have a requirement to read from a ztable that is used for legacy systems and use the info as part of our change requests when we create or change new cost centers through MDG. The existing detail should be pulled into the change request for the applicable Cost center and should allow creation and editing and when we post the change request it should update the Ztable with the new or amended values.
My assumption is that we won't be able to read from ECC because of the Flex model and thus will have to store the data somewhere in a MDG table and would have to call this table to get the available values. I want to build a UIBB that I can link to the standard change request UI but could not find a document that can really assist me.
I noticed archive document http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-27111 but I am not sure if I should use it anymore and it is also showing how to build this for BP reuse and not for Finance flex
Can anyone please provide some guidelines

I am working on a new project using MDM as the SOR of PS project master data. And the main function we need is to generate number for projects.
I know that we can create ports that could provide number range via a lookup table, however there's one problem that I am still sticking with, which is to generate sequencial number for project. Here's the details:
All projects could be either a parent project, or a child project that is under a certain parent project. One parent project could have multiple child projects.
The naming requirement is, whatever the parent project number is, its child project's prj number should be PARENT_PROJECT_NUMBER-01, -02, -03....
For example, I have a parent project called TJ14SJ302000001, so all its child project number should be
TJ14SJ302000001-01
TJ14SJ302000001-02
TJ14SJ302000001-03
...
How can I do that using MDM, can anyone give me a clue? I have considered calculation expression function in the field, but then I find it's dynamic which means when the total number of child projecgt increases, the COUNT will increase as well so the number is changing....I'm not thinking of a workflow with assignments but want to know if that's the right direction...

I want to create all the objects of Finance without Edition. What are the configurations needed to make all the Type 1 entities of Finance to make Edition independent ??
I have copied the 0G data model & wanted to make this changes.
I was trying to make all the Type Entities as "No Edition" from Edit Data Model but

In our MDG NWBC screen we have Customer and Supplier folders. In change request report I need to identify in which folder I am in (currently opened folder).
In URL I am seeing string as sap-nwbc-node=106486 and sap-nwbc-node=106496 for both Supplier and Customer. If I get these values in abap, I can write my own logic based on folder that currently opened.
Can any one has experience or any ideas on this.
